A contemporary, multidisciplinary arts centre in Alicante

“Cultura Contemporánea” is part of the facilities at the “Las Cigarreras” cultural centre in one of the most emblematic buildings in the city of Alicante, the old tobacco factory. Occupying a floor area of 3,000m2 in one of the three warehouses of the old factory, it is the fruit of a project organized by the Town Hall of Alicante and “Alicante Cultura”.

Las Cigarreras is a multi-disciplinary centre, a place for interaction, dialogue, creativity and exhibition of the latest in modern art in all its manifestations. The vision of art here is plural, active and fluid. The establishment is open to discussion concerning the vision of cutting-edge art, be it plastic, visual or dramatic, encompassing architecture, music, dance and new technologies.

General: Tuesdays to Saturdays 10.00 to 21.30, Closed Sunday and Monday.
