What do Real Madrid do after the season ends? Hint: it's in a small Murcia town!
Alhama de Murcia will host the Real Madrid Foundation's summer camp for the first time

The Real Madrid Foundation will officially bring its summer camp to Alhama de Murcia for the first time. The summer camp will run from June 29 to July 3 at the municipal pitch 'José Kubala'. The programme is backed by the Town Council of Alhama de Murcia and El Pozo Alimentación.
The camp was presented this week in the municipality and will welcome more than 100 young people. It's part of the Foundation's Campus Experience programme, which has been running for over 15 years and combines football training with personal development.
At the presentation, the Mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Rosa Sánchez, was joined by representatives from the Real Madrid Foundation and El Pozo Alimentación, who all spoke about the importance of bringing more sporting opportunities to young people in local towns.
The camp will follow the Real Madrid Foundation's training methodology, combining football sessions with key values such as teamwork, respect, motivation and independence. It is aimed at children aged between 7 and 15 years of age.
Rosa Sánchez described the arrival of the camp as a real opportunity for local children to access high-level coaching and the values of one of the world's biggest football clubs.
She also spoke about the importance of partnerships like this, saying that when public institutions and private companies work together, it has a direct impact on the well-being and development of young people.
The council also confirmed plans for a major upgrade of local sports facilities, including new 7-a-side and 5-a-side pitches, as demand for football in the area continues to grow.
From the Real Madrid Foundation, Félix González emphasised the educational side of the programme, saying the goal is for children to enjoy football while also learning values that stay with them long after the camp ends.
