VIDEO: How Murcia celebrated Carlos Alcaraz's Australian Open win
Watch as the people of Murcia packed local venues and gathered around big screens to celebrate Carlitos' incredible win

Murcia turned out in force to support Carlos Alcaraz as he made tennis history at the Australian Open.
As the 22-year-old from El Palmar in Murcia completed his Grand Slam collection, people across the region gathered to watch the match together on big screens set up in public spaces. In Murcia city, the local council organised a large screen so residents could follow the final live and cheer him on from home turf.
In El Palmar, where Alcaraz grew up, the support was especially strong. Local venues opened their doors so neighbours and fans could watch the match together, with many saying they did not want to miss such a big moment for one of Murcia's own.
Messages of pride and congratulations quickly appeared on social media, with many describing Alcaraz as one of Murcia's biggest sporting stars and congratulating Carlitos on becoming the youngest player in history to win all four Grand Slam titles.
The people of Murcia experienced every minute of this thrilling final with their young tennis star. They gasped, cheered and clapped through every point as Carlitos made history.
