San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb

Make this Christmas an unforgettable event in the new marina of Puerto de Mazarrón
This Christmas a novel experience is coming to Puerto de Mazarrón, giving children and their families a unique and unparalleled experience at the Christmas Workshop and the Christmas Boat. Here they can get to meet Santa Claus and his helpers from the East in the houseboat where they stay during their time in this part of the Costa Cálida!
In the Christmas Workshop children can write their letters and enjoy a festive atmosphere surrounded by their loved ones. Then they will board the Christmas Houseboat, a magical experience full of lights, music and joy, and sail around in the Bay of Mazarrón accompanied by Santa Claus and his emissaries.
The experience is available at the Demarfly AquaRent facilities in Mazarrón Marina (click for map) and bookings can be made online here at a price of 18 euros for adults and 12 euros for children, A family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) can be purchased for 50 euros and the activity lasts 90 minutes.
