Guidelines for submitting articles to San Javier Today

San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb
Until February 2 A Galaxy Far Far Away comes to Cartagena
La Fuerza de la Galaxia exhibition at the Augusteum in Cartagena
“La Fuerza de la Galaxia” is an exhibition of items and memorabilia related to the 1977 blockbuster movie Star Wars, featuring a large private collection (owned by Alfredo Calles) of light sabres, masks, costumes, statues and the like. Among the highlights are a full rebel soldier costume and a piece of the Death Star.
The exhibition is open until Feburary 2 during normal Augusteum opening hours (10.00 to 17.30), with last admissions 30 minutes before closing time. Please note, this is not a fully accesible venue.
Admission costs 6 euros per person and is prior bookings are available through the Cartagena Puerto de Culturas website here.
Also available on the same site are dramatized visits to the exhibition, featuring real-size models of R2D2 and a Jawa, photocalls and a meeting with Darth Vader. The price of these visits is 15 euros per head and they take place on December 6, 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 29 and 30 and January 2,3 and 4 at 17.15, lasting approximately 90 minutes.
