

Guidelines for submitting articles to San Javier Today
Hello, and thank you for choosing sanjavier.today to publicise your organisation’s info or event.
San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb
Until December 8 Exhibition of sketches used in the design of Semana Santa embroidery in Lorca
Drafts and design ideas which resulted in Lorca holding some of the most spectacular Easter parades in Spain
The MASS museum in Lorca, which is owned and run by the Paso Azul, one of the most important of the groups which take part in the spectacular Semana Santa processions every spring, is holding an exhibition until 8th December entitled “Bocetos que cambiaron la historia” (Sketches Which Changed History).
The exhibition in the church of San Francisco is officially opened on 11th September at 20.30 and includes a selection of documents and graphic, pictorial and sculpted material related to the process by which the magnificent embroidery and floats are designed for the Easter Week processions.
Opening hours at the MASS are weekdays and Saturdays 10.00 to 14.00 and 17.00 to 19.30, Sundays and public holidays 11.00 to 14.00.
