

Guidelines for submitting articles to San Javier Today
Hello, and thank you for choosing sanjavier.today to publicise your organisation’s info or event.
San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb

Get to know the municipality of Pilar de la Horadada with these fun tours on the open-air train!
The tourist train of Pilar de la HOradada, including the beaches of La Torre de la Horadada, is running a full service during the summer of 2025 with free routes both along the coastal area and between La Torre and Pilar. Audito guides are available in both Spanish and English.
Coastal route on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays starting at 20.00, 21.00, 22.00 and 23.00:

Mil Palmeras (junction of Av España with Av Francia, Avendia de Holanda and Calle Fernando Rojas)
Torre de la Horadada (outside the park in Calle Pío XII, junction of Av Costa Blanca and Calle Fragata, Calle Ancla, Calle Jardinero)
El Mojón (Junction of Calle Catamarán and Calle Galera)
Las Villas-Higuericas (car park of Playa Higuericas, Calle Salar next to the roundabout)
Torre de la Horadada (Calle Arpón, Calle Pío XII, junction of Av Levante and Calle José Hierro, Calle Rafael Albertí).
Pilar de la Horadada and La Torre on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, starting at 9.00, 10.30, 12.00, 17.00 and 18.30.

Audio guides are available in both Spanish and English and can be downloaded via QR codes at the 16th-century watchtower, the beaches, Río Seco, the lagoons, the Roman quarry, the museum, Segregación and the church.
