Two earthquakes measuring 3.1 and 2.0 on the Richter scale struck
Jumilla this Monday April 14 at around 10am, separated by just 8 minutes.
According to the National Geographic Institute (IGN), the epicentre of the first tremor was recorded on the surface, while the second originated at a depth of 2 kilometres, both located south of the town.
Although the earthquakes are classed as minor, they were felt by many residents, but there are no reports of property damage or injuries.
