The new municipal fairground of Alhama de Murcia

The new location is located on the western outskirts of Alhama

The new municipal fairground of Alhama de MurciaThe new fairground and showground of Alhama de Murcia opened in 2022 and is located on Calle Miguel Ángel Blanco in the Nueva Espuña area on the western outskirts of the town (click for map).

Occupying an area of over 16,000 square metres, the fairground includes three large areas, in principle designed for fairground attractions, live music and hospitality tents and marquees. The tree-lined central avenue is 16 metres wide, providing a natural main throughfare within the area, and modern street furniture and LED lighting are installed.

The venue is likely to take over from the area adjacent to the Parque de La Cubana in the centre of Alhama for events such as annual fiestas, the Los Mayos festivities in early May and other events in the municipality.
