Submissions now welcome for the annual Autumn Salon art exhibition in Águilas
Local artists display their work at the Casa de la Cultura Francisco Rabal
The Casa de la Cultura Francisco Rabal in Águilas is once again hosting its annual “Salón de Otoño” exhibition, in which local artists display their work.
The 19th autumn salon is to be officially opened on 3rd October at 20.00 by the new curator Lorenzo Martínez and lasts until 4th November.
One of the great things about this Salon is that anyone can participate in the exhibition as long as they are either natives or residents of Águilas, so if you want to show off your own work in public you can do so! Those interested should contact the Casa de Cultura Francisco Rabal by telephone on 968 413305 or by email at biblioteca.aguilas@ayuntamientodeaguilas.org.
All works submitted should be no more than 120 centimetres in width and height and each entry should be submitted in JPG format along with the details of the artist, technique, dimensions and price of sale if applicable, so that a QR code for the exhibition can be created. Paintings should be delivered between 14th and 29th September to the Casa de Cultura on weekdays between 9.00 and 14.00 and between 16.00 and 20.30.
The exhibition can be visited on weekdays from 18.00 to 21.00.
If visiting Águilas your first port of call should be the local tourist office (click here for map, telephone 968 493285, email turismo@aguilas.es).
