September 6 to November 6 Art exhibition Los Asomaos by Lidó Rico in Caravaca de la Cruz
Los Asomaos is intended as an examination of the symbolic energy of the True Cross of Caravaca
Murcia artists Lidó Rico is exhibiting a special collection of works as part of the cultural program of the 2024 Holy Jubilee Year in Caravaca de la Cruz under the title of “Los Asomaos” due largely to the collaboration of the regional Instituto de las Industrias Culturales y las Artes as well as the Town Hall and the Fundación Camino de la Cruz.
Lidó Rico, a native of Yecla, is one of the best-known artists currently working in the Region of Murcia and his work is always full of surprises, in this case themed on the symbolic energy of the True Cross of Caravaca through paintings in which he used his fingers instead of brushes! Each piece on display is accompanied by a quote from the Bible and a poetic explanation.
Los Asomados can be visited at the former church of the Compañía de Jesús in Caravaca until November 6 from Tuesdays to Saturdays between 10.00 and 14.00 and from 17.00 to 19.30, and on Sunday mornings from 10.00 to 14.00.
