September 6 Classic car fair in Lorca

The 12th annual classic motor vehicles and the 5th “Salón AutoRetro” event are being held at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos Francisco Jódar at the IFELOR venue in Lorca on Sunday 6^th September, with all members of the public welcome to attend free of charge.

During a long day, lasting from 9.00 to 19.00, classic cars and motorcycles will be on display and spare parts are on sale for all kinds of revered car and motorbike models from the past. In addition, the day’s attractions include an antique special collectors’ market, as well as the usual exhibitions as proud owners show off their prized possessions.

Over 300 vehicles are registered to take part, none of them dating from the 21^st century, and snacks will be served in the main air-conditioned canteen while other events are taking place, as well as a grill and paella service at lunchtime. In addition, a children’s area is being set up in case the little ones tire of the cars!

The only ones required to pay any kind of fee at all are those wishing to take part with their vehicles, who have to part with the nominal sum of 10 euros on the gate.
