September 27 La Peregrina mountain bike event in Caravaca de la Cruz

All age groups and categories are catered for in this great ride through the mountains and countryside of Caravaca

The success of the “La Peregrina” mountain bike event since 2024, when it was held for the first time as part of the Holy Jubilee Year celebrations, has led to a third edition being organized for 27^th September, providing a great day of cycling in the mountains and huge swathes of countryside in the municipality.

The main route of this year’s ride begins and ends at the Basílica in Caravaca itself, starting at 9.30 (race numbers can be collected the previous evening) and also takes in a large part of the surrounding countryside, including climbing and descent. Both standard bikes and e-bikes are welcome. 

Registration is now open online here, with a base price of 28 euros (including refreshments, showers, medical support and insurance) and each fee paid includes a donation to the UAPO campaign to create a Support Unit for Cancer Patients.
