September 1-30 Chocolate Month gastronomic trail in Pilar de la Horadada
Ten venues are taking part in the month-long ‘Chocolatea por Pilar de la Horadada’ initiative
Chocolate lovers have an entire month to indulge in sweet treats in Pilar de la Horadada, with a new gastronomic route running across the municipality throughout September.
The ‘Chocolatea por Pilar de la Horadada’ initiative has been organised by the Pilar de la Horadada Town Council’s Tourism Department and runs from September 1 to 30.
The event has been created to celebrate International Chocolate Day, which falls on September 13, and gives visitors the chance to try a selection of chocolate-based desserts at participating restaurants and food businesses.
Desserts are priced between €4 and €7, making it possible to visit several venues during the month without spending a fortune. Anyone taking part can also request a free souvenir magnet from participating establishments.
There are 10 establishments involved, spread across Pilar de la Horadada, Torre de la Horadada, Pueblo Latino and Pinar de Campoverde:

Tasting times vary between venues depending on their usual opening hours, so visitors are advised to check with the individual establishment before heading out.
