September 13 to 23 Annual Fair in Yecla
Live music with Chanel topping the bill as the fairground and free archaeological tours as the September festivities return to Yecla
The annual September fair is being held in Yecla in the north of the Region of Murcia between 13th and 23rd September at the usual fairground venue, where over 20 open-air bar/restaurants and food trucks will be installed and a host of entertainments for both grown-ups and children are scheduled.
Among the highlights are the concerts by Chanel (Spain’s unlucky loser in Eurovision 2022), León Benavente, Hora Zulú and local groups such as Knibal, Abyla, Maneras de Vivir and Vito Corleone y Cornho. Other events to look forward to are the return of the “Conexión Remember” afternoon and evening of coplas and the “Siempre Disco” show, which takes us back to the music of the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and Naughties.
At the same time, there are guided tours of archaeological sites and Monte Arabí, and a new route at the historical house of the Casa de los Mergelina.
