Hello, and thank you for choosing sanjavier.today to publicise your organisation’s info or event.
San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb
September 12 to 22 Annual Fair in Yecla
Live music with Mago de Oz topping the bill as the fairground and free archaeological tours during the annual September festivities in Yecla
The annual September fair is being held in Yecla in the north of the Region of Murcia between 12th and 23rd September at the usual fairground venue (click for map), where over 20 open-air bar/restaurants and food trucks will be installed and a host of entertainments for both grown-ups and children are scheduled.
Among the highlights are the concerts by Mago de Oz, La La Love You, two tributes to Alejandro Sanz and Raphael and performances by local groups. Other events to look forward to are Disney special for children, the return of the “Conexión Remember” and of course the fairground attractions, which open every day.
At the same time, there are guided tours of archaeological sites and Monte Arabí, and a new route at the historical house of the Casa de los Mergelina.
Programme Feria de Septiembre 2025:
Friday September 12
18.00 to 20.00: Face-painting for 3- to 12-year-olds at the Caseta Joven in the fairground.
19.00: Food trucks open outside the old Caprabo supermarket.
21.00: The official opening of the fair with a grand firework display.
23.00: The first concert of the 2025 fair is “Conexión Remember”, a nostalgic look at pop music of recent decades. Admission free of charge.
Saturday September 13
10.00 to 14.00 and 18.00 to 20.00: Activities for children up to 16 years old at the Caseta Joven.
19.00: Food trucks open outside the old Caprabo supermarket.
23.00: DEPOL in concert at the Real de la Feria. Admission free of charge.
Sunday September 14
10.00: Open day at the Cerro del Castillo archaeological site. Click here for further details.
10.00 to 14.00: Activities for children up to 16 years old at the Caseta Joven.
19.00: Food trucks open outside the old Caprabo supermarket.
23.00: A tribute concert to Alejandro Sanz and Estopa at the Real de la Feria. Admission free of charge.

20.30: The Night Trail run of the Feria de Yecla, non-competitive, over distances of 9 and 14 km. Registration 5 euros online here.
