San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.

When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:

Include all relevant points, including:

Where is it happening?

When?

San Javier maintains SEGITTUR status in recognition of the use of innovation, technology and sustainability in tourismThe municipality of San Javier has once again been acknowledged by the Secretary of State for Tourism as a member of the SEGITTUR network in 2026, a recognition of the local use of innovation, technology and sustainability in promotional tourism activities.

San Javier first obtained this status in 2023 and has now outlined its strategies in further development until 2027, hence the award which was received in Madrid by Councillors Estibaliz Masegosa and David Martínez.
