Registration open for Mar Menor Aidemarcha 2026 night race
The exciting charity event, organised by the San Javier Sports Department, takes place on Saturday July 4
Get ready for the most eagerly anticipated night race of the summer in the Mar Menor. Registration for Aidemarcha 2026 opened on 1st May with 3,000 spots available for participants in this exciting charity event, taking place on Saturday 4th July.
The race, organised by the San Javier Sports Department in collaboration with Aidemar, features 1,000 places for runners, 1,500 for walkers and 500 reserved a children's event (up to 13 years of age). Online registration is available at www.aidemarcha.com and www.famu.com and is priced at 10 euros for the adult events and 5 euros for children.The children’s race begins alongside Parque in San Javier at 20.00, with the adults starting an hour later over distances of 3 km (walking) and 5 km (running) at the same point, reaching the finish line on Explanada Barnuevo in Santiago de la Ribera.
Local Councillor for Sport Sergio Martínez encourages people to take part in an event supporting Aidemar, which for 43 years has been helping those with disabilities in the Mar Menor area.
