There first couple of days of this week could see some summer storms arrive, but it will still be hot

There will be some rain for the Region of Murcia at the start of this week, according to the weather forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), but, instead of a massive storm, it will be the kind that serves to break the rising air pressure and bring down the ratcheting heat a bit. Very welcome news!

Murcia weather forecast, Monday June 15Monday afternoon will be when most of this week’s rain falls in Murcia, with “clouds developing during the day in the inland mountain ranges, with the possibility of occasional showers, which may be accompanied by thunderstorms,” according to Aemet.
It will also be incredibly hot, with temperatures reaching as high as 38ºC in central Murcia but staying around the low- to mid-30s elsewhere.
Tuesday June 16
Murcia weather forecast, Tuesday June 16For Tuesday, the morning will be dry but there will be a chance of more rain and storms come the afternoon, especially in the northwest of the Region. Minimum temperatures will actually be rising while maximums fall by a degree or two, while “light, variable winds tend to blow from the east in the afternoon”. Very pleasant.
Wednesday June 17
Murcia weather forecast, Wednesday June 17Wednesday’s forecast does not bring any chance of rain or storms. Instead, we will have mainly clear skies and those some gentle easterly breezes blowing, while temperatures stay at the same level as they fell to on Tuesday.
Thursday June 18
Murcia weather forecast, Thursday June 18The Aemet forecast for Thursday is largely the same, with the addition that temperatures will be “generally largely unchanged, except for a rise in minimum temperatures along the coast.”
