October 31 Legends and Mysteries of Lorca, a Halloween tour of Lorca for adults
Ancient tales of lovers and ghosts as night falls in Lorca this Halloween!
Most people who visit Lorca are aware of the majestic castle above the city and the imposing Former Collegiate Church of San Patricio, as well as many other well-known buildings and monuments, but have you ever heard about the Christ of Coal? Or the lovers of the Alameda de los Tristes? Or the ghost of the Palacio de Guevara?
This year on Halloween those mysteries are brought to life in this tour (in Spanish), which takes participants around the city after dark, when the shadows of the night bring to light the old legends that still lurk in the most unexpected corners.
The tour on 31st October starts at 19.00 at the Visitors Centre in the former Convent of La Merced and lasts approximately 2 hours, and is intended only for grown-ups! Prices are set at 12.75 euros for over 17s and 9.75 euros for those aged 6 to 16 who dare to turn up (rising to 14.75 and 12.75 after the first 10 places have been occupied).
Reservations should be made online here.
