October 31 Children’s Halloween activity At Lorca castle
La Maldición del ogro sin Corazón at the Fortaleza del Sol in Lorca
Lorca castle is hosting a few Halloween specials in 2026 alongside the normal visiting options, and one of these is a children’s event taking place on both 31st October and 1st Novmeber entitled “La Maldición del ogro sin Corazón”.
Chidlren are challenged to help the good witches of the castle at a time when flowers are wiltling, the trees are sad and the birds no longer sing, and to do so they have to take on the Ogre Gregorio.
Come along in costume and enjoy the fun, and picnic options are available to eat in the Las Caballerizas del Castillo restaurant.
The event is held twice on each day at 12.30 and 15.30 with pricing as follows for bookings made before 9th October:
Adults 12.75 euros
Children aged 3-16, 9.75 euros
Picnic options are also available at the online booking facility here for both children and adults.
For more local information about Lorca, including news and what’s on, enquire at the tourist office (located in the same building, telephone 968 441914, email lorcaturismo@lorca.es), or visit the home page of Lorca Today.
