Guidelines for submitting articles to San Javier Today

San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb
October 26 Concert by the Albéniz Trío in Mazarron
Works by Dvorak, Turina and Beethoven at the Centro Cultural de Mazarrón
This latest event in the Crescendo Mazarrón season for 2024 features the Albéniz Trío, consisting of three young musicians who met in 2017 at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid.
The members are Javier Rameix (piano), Paula Brizuela Carballo (cello) and Luis María Suárez Felipe (violín), and all three were awarded prizes by Queen Sofía (the wife of former King Juan Carlsos I) in recognition of their talent and ability. The prizes have continued to come during their professional career, including the “Jeunesses Musicales” in 2021 and the Arthur Rubinstein award in Łódź, Poland.
On the program for their recital in Mazarrón are Dvořák’s Trio with Piano in E minor (the “Dumky Trio”), Joaquín Turina’s “Círculo” Fantasy for Piano Trio Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Trio Op. 1 nº 3 in C minor.
The performance in the Centro Cultural de Mazarrón begins at 20.00.
