

Guidelines for submitting articles to San Javier Today
Hello, and thank you for choosing sanjavier.today to publicise your organisation’s info or event.
San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb
October 25 Open-air painting competition in Yecla
Painting for prizes in the streets and squares of the town of Yecla
The annual “Certamen Nacional de Pintura al Aire Libre” is being held in Yecla on Saturday 25th October, when competitors will meet at 8.00 at the Escuela Municipal de Bellas Artes (Edificio Cespín, Avenida de la Feria 27) to take part in the all-day event.
Painting begins at 8.30 with the only category being the streets and squares of the town of Yecla, and competitors required to provide their own materials, with a minimum size of 70 cm and a maximum of 150 cm. Only one work per painter will be accepted when the paintings are handed in in the Plaza Mayor from 17.00 to 17.30, unsigned and on easels.
Prizes are awarded in the Plaza Mayor at 18.30 and the winning entries will then belong to the event organizers.
