October 19 La Traviata opera in Águilas
One of Verdi’s best-known works at the seafront auditorium in Águilas
The Auditorio y Palacio de Congresos Infanta Doña Eñena in Águilas is pleased to host this performance of “La Traviata”, one of Giuseppe Verdi’s best-known operas with the libretto in Italian by Francesco Maria Piave. The plot is based on the Alexandre Dumas play La Dame aux Camélias (1852), adapted from his own novel, and the opera was first performed in March 1853 in Venice.
This performance is given by the Opera 2001 company and the curtain rises at 20.00. Tickets are available at 20, 25 and 30 euros from the Museo Arqueológico, the Casa de la Cultura and online here, as well as in the hour before the performance starts at the auditorium box office.
