October 18 Isabel Pantoja tribute show in Caravaca
Se Me Enamora El Alma is a tribute to one of Spain’s most popular and charismatic singers
Isabel Pantoja became a monumental figure in the daily lives and gossip press of Spain when, as a young flamenco and copla singer, she shot to fame before marrying the bullfighter Francisco Rivera in 1985. Sadly, the darling couple of Hello magazine were parted barely a year later when he was killed in the ring, since when she and her family have occupied the pages of magazines and newspapers (and daytime TV shows) almost constantly.
This tribute act, though, featuring Maribel Castillo, concentrates merely on her music, with accurate and emotional renditions of some of her best-known songs.
The performance at the Teatro Thuillier in Caravaca de la Cruz on 18th October begins at 19.00 with tickets priced at 10 euros + costs and available online here.
