November 7 to 30 Exhibition of paintings by Alfonso Muñoz in Yecla
Memories of Yecla at the Asociación de Mayordomos
Alfonso Muñoz Martínez is a well-known artist whose work has often featured on posters for local events and fiestas in Yecla as well as other places such as Madrid and Bilbao, and also on the front cover of bullfighting magazines.
But in this exhibition her returns to the theme of Yecla, with a series of paintings which illustrate his memories of the town in the past. The images do not typically feature bright Mediterranean colours, instead reflecting the hardship of life on the high plain in the north of the Region of Murcia and the calm of the rural landscape.
The “Lo que Evoca la Memoria” exhibition can be seen from 7th to 30th November at the Asociación de Mayordomo (Calle Niño Jesús, 8) between 19.00 and 21.00
