Guidelines for submitting articles to San Javier Today
Hello, and thank you for choosing sanjavier.today to publicise your organisation’s info or event.
San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb
November 30 to December 8 Fiestas Tapas Route in Mazarron
The event coincides with the 2024 Fiestas Patronales de la Purísima in Mazarrón
As ever the annual fiestas in Mazarrón in honour of the patrono f the town, Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, or “La Purísima”, are being marked by a number of events, among them the annual tapas route which is taking place from November 30 to December 1.
Route maps or Passports are available from any of the bars taking part and from the tourist office in Plaza Toneleros, in Puerto de Mazarrón, and when you try one of the tapas on offer at one of the ten establishments taking part (price just 3.50 euros) simply get your route map stamped. With at least 7 stamps you are eligible to take part in a prize draw for a dinner or lunch to the value of 300 euros, and each bar or restaurant is also offering extras such as breakfasts, etc.
Deposit your route map before November 9 in the urn at Bar La Plaza in Mazarrón.
In addition, live music is scheduled during the event at 13.00 in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, featuring Filiu on December 1, Geisho on December 6, Adrián Ruiz on December 7 and Jaulo on December 8.
The eateries taking part are Bar La Plaza, El Albergue, Hotel Costa, Restaurante Guillermo, Restaurante El Pilón, Canela, Restaurante La Inesperada, D’Pinxos, Bar Toni and La Pista de Pádel.
