San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb
November 30 Pancho Varona live in concert in Lorca
One of the greats of Spanish music celebrates 40 years in show business
Singer Pablo Varona is currently celebrating 40 years in show business with his “Punto y Seguido” tour and comes to Alhama de Murcia on Sunday September 28 for a one-off concert at the Auditorio Margarita Lozano in Lorca.
Over his 4 decades in the music business Pablo Varona has been the constant sidekick of Joaquín Sabina, co-writing over 100 songs with him and performing at his side in over 2,000 concerts all over the world. He has also worked with some of the greats of Spanish popular music, including Serrat, Estopa, Gabinete Caligari, Ana Belén, Miguel Ríos, Ana Torroja, Luz Casal, Manolo Tena and Amaral.
Although it would normally take place in the Teatro Guerra, this concert is being held in the Auditorio Margarita Lozano (Calle Santa Quiteria, click for map) at 22.00.
