November 29 A day of differing musical styles in Caravaca de la Cruz

A clarinet masterclass by Roy Jowitt followed by a Santa Cecilia concert from the Caravaca music society

The 3^rd “Encuentro Musical” organized by the Agrupación Musical de Caravaca de la Cruz is being held from 27^th to 29^th November, with two evenings of musical performance and analysis followed on the Saturday by three open events at which members of the public are welcome.

The day begins at 10.00 with a masterclass offered by the Roy Jowitt Clarinet Quartet, held in the incomparable setting of the Museo Carrilero. Those wishing to attend should register beforehand using this link.

Later on, the general rehearsal of the Agrupación Musical is held at the Salones Castillo venue, led by conductor José Miguel Rodilla Tortajada and Mario Pastor Campuzano (tuba), prior to the concert in honour of Santa Cecilia (the patron saint of music) at the same venue at 19.30.
