November 24 Annual Cross de la Virgen cross country race in Yecla
Distances of up to 10 km as Yecla prepares for its annual fiestas
For 40 years now the beginning of the annual Fiestas de la Virgen in Yecla, in northern Murcia, has coincided with the Cross de la Virgen cross country race, which this year is being run in various categories over distances of up to 10,000 metres.
Registration for the event is still open online here, costing up to 8 euros (for the main race, which starts at 12.30), but is closing at midnight on November 13.
