November 21 Screening of Double Indemnity in original language version in Los Alcázares

The “Cineforum” series of four screenings of classic movies in the Salón de Plenos of the Town Hall of Los Alcázares, all of them in original language version, continues on Friday 21^st November at 18.30 with Double Indemnity, starring Fred MacMurray, Barbara Stanwyck, Edward G. Robinson, Porter Hall, Jean Heather, Tom Powers, Byron Barr and Richard Gaines.

Directed by Billy Wilder, the “film noir” was released in 1944 with screenplay by Wilder himself and the great Raymond Chandler, the film was nominated for 7 Academy Awards and has since been recognized as setting the standard for the genre as well as being one of the greatest movies of all time.

This screening in Los Alcázares is organized by the Asociación Los Alcázaers Eco Cultural - LAEC and is followed by a short talk by cinema experts José María and Pencho.
