New locations announced for Águilas blood donation drive
The Regional Blood Donation Centre announces a permanent move from Casa del Mar to Águilas Norte and Sur health centres starting this July

The Regional Blood Donation Centre has announced a change of venue for its regular blood donation sessions in Águilas.
From July onwards, donations will no longer take place at the Casa del Mar and will instead be held at the Águilas Norte and Águilas Sur health centres.
The first sessions at the new locations will take place on Tuesday 7 and Tuesday 14 July at the Águilas Sur Health Centre, followed by sessions on Tuesday 21 and Tuesday 28 July at the Águilas Norte Health Centre.
The centre says the change will make it easier and more comfortable for people to donate blood. Moving the sessions to local health centres also means they can be held in facilities that are already set up for healthcare services.
The Regional Blood Donation Centre thanked the Casa del Mar for hosting the sessions over the years and hopes both regular donors and those thinking of donating for the first time will continue to support the programme at its new locations.
Blood donations are needed throughout the year to help hospitals across the Region of Murcia, and local donors continue to play an important role in keeping supplies available for patients who need them.
