More rain and falling temps this weekend: Murcia weather forecast May 14-17
Next week’s weather forecast looks substantially drier, but for this weekend some rainstorms are expected

Over the course of this weekend in the Region of Murcia, the weather forecast according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) is for some showery episodes and falling temperatures, but still with enough sunshine and warm spells to see us through comfortably.
Thursday May 14
Maximum temperatures in Murcia, Thursday May 14The forecast for Thursday is for uniformly sunny and dry conditions accompanied by some high-level cloud cover. Minimum temperatures are 9-10ºC in the north and around 14-16ºC elsewhere, while maximums at the height of the day will be around 23-24ºC along the coast, 25-26ºC in most inland areas and even up to 30ºC in Murcia city!
Friday May 15
Murcia weather forecast, Friday May 15For Friday, Aemet forecasts “partly cloudy skies, becoming cloudy with moderate rain from midday onwards; clearing by the end of the day”. Most of this rain will be concentrated around Cartagena and La Manga in the morning, moving northwards and stormier – with thunder and lightning – come the afternoon.
Aemet also note that temperatures will be “falling inland and remaining unchanged along the coast” while “light westerly winds, with moderate to strong north-westerly gusts” are forecast for the afternoon.
Saturday May 16
Murcia weather forecast, Saturday May 16Saturday is once again a much sunnier and brighter day overall, with no storms or rain forecast at all and only some “light winds,” and though it will feel nice and warm thanks to the sunshine, temperatures will actually be on the decline by a couple of degrees.
Sunday May 17
Murcia weather forecast, Sunday May 17More rain is forecast for Sunday afternoon, especially in the centre and north of the Region, though it should be fairly light rain and will peter out by the evening.
Looking ahead to next week, the Aemet forecast is for continuing sunny conditions and rising temperatures above 30ºC! Something to look forward to…
