May 31 Yecla Beneath the Stars, a free guided walk on Monte Arabi
Enjoy the mystic mountain of Yecla under the night sky of late spring
Guided walks on and around the mystical mountain of Monte Arabí in Yecla, in the north of the Region of Murcia, are always extremely popular, and this summer evening hike promises to be even more in demand so get your bookings in early as places are limited!
Helping to lead the activity are local astronomy enthusiasts who will be pointing out some of the wonders of the sky at night during the walk. Of course, participants are reminded to wear comfortable and appropriate footwear and to take drinking water or juice, warm clothing, a torch and a small snack.
Those joining in will need to make their own way to the start of the walk at 19.30.
As mentioned, prior booking is a must and is available online here.
If visiting Yecla don’t forget to make sure one of your first ports of call is the tourist office (Plaza Mayor, 1, email turismo@yecla.es, telephone 968 754104).
For more local events, news and visiting information go to the home page of Yecla Today.
