May 31 From Händel to Korngold at the seafront auditorium in Aguilas
A voyage through operas and instrumental music at the Auditorio Infanta Doña Elena in Águilas
This recital features Feride Buyukdenktas, a Turkish-born mezzosoprano living in Vienna, renowned Swedish trombonist Håkan Björkman and the Murcia pianist Pilar Beltrán ofrecerán, performing a programme of musical treasures from the popular Spanish songs of Manuel de Falla to the world première of the Suite Bergamasque for piano by Claude Debussy. Also on the bill are the Voice of the Angel Gabriel sonata by S. Šulek and a selection of arias and duets taken from a range of operas.
The performance at the Auditorio Infanta Doña Elena in Águilas on 31st May begins at 20.00 with tickets priced at 7 euros (5 euros for under 14s) and available online here, as well as in person from the local archaeological museum and the Casa de la Cultura.
