May 29 to July 20 Exhibition by artist Pilar Sala in Lorca
“La Voz del Papel” at the Palacio de Guevara in Lorca
An exhibition of works by local artist Pilar Sala is being held at the Palacio de Guevara in Lorca until 20th July, combining artwork with the themes of Nature and family roots through the use of an ancient Chinese artistic technique.
This technique involves the use of paper treated with plants and natural fibres, and it brings the artist back to the place where her father, José Sala Just, worked as a pharmacist and chronicler. Although she is now based in Alicante, Pilar Sala has maintained strong ties with Lorca, the city of her birth, and is proud to re-associate her name and that of her father with the city through the exhibition at one of its most iconic buildings.
Opening hours at the Palacio Guevara are as follows:
Tuesday to Saturday 10.00 to 14.00 and 17.00 to 20.00
Sundays 10.00 to 14.00
