Guidelines for submitting articles to San Javier Today
Hello, and thank you for choosing sanjavier.today to publicise your organisation’s info or event.
San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb

May 17 Free tourist train ride around the key sites of the Urban Art Festival in Los Alcázares
A 90-minute ride to see the most impressive works among the hundreds on display in Los Alcázares and Los Narejos
Coinciding with the urban art festival which is being held in Los Alcázares from 14th to 17th May, during which 50 new murals will be added to the already impressive array around the centres of the town and the Los Narejos district, the local tourist train is offering a 90-minute tour of key sites on Sunday 17th.
The train leaves the Town Hall at 10.00 (although those boarding are asked to arrive 15 minutes beforehand to ensure prompt departure and places can be booked free of charge online here.
This is expected to be a very popular ride, so if you book and are then unable to take your seat please advise of your cancellation! Thank you!
(NOTE: the same tour is being held on Saturday at 18.00)
