March 8 Josefina, a dramatic biography in Caravaca de la Cruz
The story of poet Miguel Hernández and his wife at the Teatro Thuillier in Caravaca
“Josefina” is a drama based on the relationship between poet Miguel Hernández, who was from Orihuela in Alicante and died in prison aged just 31 in 1942, and his wife Josefina Manresa, and this special performance of the play is being held on 8th March to coincide with International Women’s Day.
The performance at the Teatro Thuillier in Caravaca de la Cruz begins at 19.30, and contains a blend of monologues, poetry and music.
