Guidelines for submitting articles to San Javier Today
Hello, and thank you for choosing sanjavier.today to publicise your organisation’s info or event.
San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb

March 6, 12, 17 and 25 Free pottery and ceramics demonstrations in Lorca
Artelor is celebrating its 25th anniversary at the Casa del Artesano in Lorca
To celebrate its 25th anniversary the ARTELOR federation of arts and crafts artisans in Lorca is holding a series of events in 2026 under the title of “12 meses 12 oficios”, and in March it's the turn of pottery and ceramics to enjoy the spotlight.
An exhibition can be visited every day from Tuesday to Saturday between 10.00 and 14.00 and from 17.00 to 19.00, while onThursdays certain dates between 11.00 and 13.00 there are a series of demonstrations being held at the Casa del Artesano in the old Pósito del Panadero building, next to the Plaza de España. The artisans giving these demonstrations are Martín Lario García of “Alfarería Eusebio Lario” (on 6th and 25th March) and Rosa Mª Playá of “Cerámicas Playá” (on 12th and 17th March).
