A musical comedy at the Auditorio Infanta Doña Elena in Águilas
In “El Bar Nuestro de Cada Día” Antonio Romera is the waiter at a bar where one of the regiulars, Malandro, has died and left money for his last wish to be fulfilled: to throw a party rather than mourners being obliged to pay their respects at a chapel of rest.
Nicknamed “Chipi”, the waiter performs a kind of improvised funeral to celebrate the deceased’s life, and the whole event becomes a comic and musical monologue, with the audience converted into others of the bar regulars.
The performance begins at 20.00 with tickets priced at Tickets for the show are available at 15 euros and available online here, in person at the Casa de la Cultura and the Museo Arqueológico, or from 19.00 on the day of the show at the box office of the auditorium.
