San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb
March 21 International football comes to Lorca
Under-21s international between Spain and the Czech Republic at the Estadio Artés Carrasco in Lorca
The city of Lorca is hosting international football on Friday 21st March, when the Spanish under-21s team take on their counterparts from the Czech Republic at 21.00 in the Estadio Francisco Artés Carrasco.
8,000 tickets are now on sale, it was revealed on Friday by Mayor Fulgencio Gil, ac companied by the vice-president of the regional football federation, Jesús Zapata, and team coach and manager Santi Denia, for this friendly match prior to the encounter between Spain and Germany on German soil four days later.
Tickets are priced at between 10 and 25 euros from the RFEF website here, making this a great chance to see “La Rojita” in action and possibly catch a glimpse of some of the future stars of the Spanish national team!
