Guidelines for submitting articles to San Javier Today
Hello, and thank you for choosing sanjavier.today to publicise your organisation’s info or event.
San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb

March 2026 Crazy Run at the beach of Bolnuevo in Mazarrón!
Fun, sport and nature at this unusual event on the largest beach of Mazarrón
During the month of March this unusual “Crazy Run” attraction is available at the main beach of Bolnuevo in the municipality of Mazarrón, combining, sporting exercise, fun and nature in an event for all the family.
Exact dates and timings have yet to be confirmed but it has been revealed that for this new edition of the event the age requirement will be lowered to 12 for the main categories, with youngsters joining the main circuit. A new course design includes extra obstacles alongside those featured in previous editions and the entire 5-kilometre route will contain a total of 30 such obstacles.
There is also a Kids category for those aged 5 to 11 on a course of 750 metres with just 8 obstacles: this is a non-competitive event with medals for all those taking part.
The cost of registration has been set at 29 euros with a 10% discount for couples and teams and just 5 euros for the kids’ circuit. Registration will open in the near future: wait for details on this page or here!
