Guidelines for submitting articles to San Javier Today
Hello, and thank you for choosing sanjavier.today to publicise your organisation’s info or event.
San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb

March 10 to 13 Free classical Spanish guitar concerts in Caravaca de la Cruz
Four superb recitals at various historic locations in the centre of Caravaca
The annual “Ciudad de Caravaca” classical guitar festival returns for its 13th edition between 10th and 13th March, with four free evening concerts scheduled during the week at different locations in the city centre.
The program for the festival is as follows:
Tuesday March 10
20.00: Mexican guitarist Cecilio Perera performs at the church of San Sebastián.
Wednesday March 11
20.00: It’s the turn of Ramón Emilio Sánchez Soriano to offer a concert at the church of San Sebastián.
Thursday March 12
20.00: Paola Requena performs at the church of San Sebastián.
Friday March 13
19.30: The music moves outside to the Paseo de la Corredera with a performance by a quartet made up of José Antonio Sánchez Aarnoutse on guitar, vocalist José Antonio Chacón, Jesús Gea Marcos on double bass and percussionist Alejandro Solano.
Masterclasses are also being held during the week at the Conservatorio de Caravaca de la Cruz under the guidance of Cecilio Perera, Paola Requena and Marco Smaili.
