Los Alcázares promotes Berber Raids fiestas in Madrid
The musical entertainment at the 2026 fiestas in Los Alcázares includes Mägo de Oz and Los Mojinos Escozíos
A busy few days for the delegation from Los Alcázares at the FITUR tourism fair in Madrid came to a close over the weekend with the presentation of the Berber Raids fiestas, which are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year and are consolidated as one of the most important annual events of their kind in the Region of Murcia.
Los Alcázares does not have the deep-rooted Semana Santa processions which are so prominent in many parts of Spain, but instead the town celebrates its medieval past the following week with these colourful fiestas, which include processions, a large medieval market (with over 200 stalls) and a wide variety of entertainment, and as part of the showcasing of the attractions of the municipality at FITUR there were dozens of locals in costume handing out information to potential visitors and tour operators.
At the same time, it has been confirmed that the entertainment this year between 2nd and 5th April features live concerts by two legendary Spanish rock groups, Mägo de Oz and Los Mojinos Escozíos, adding extra spice to the fiestas. This can only serve to increase the number of visitors to the 2026 Fiestas de las Incursiones Berberiscas, possibly surpassing the 2025 figure of approximately 200,000, and represents great news for the local hotels, tourist apartments, bars and restaurants!
