Leaving your car window open in Spain could cost you €1,500. No, really!
Spain is following in the footsteps of other European countries and punishing drivers who don’t secure their cars

Why is this even a thing?
Simple ways to avoid a fine
- Check local regulations before you park, especially if you’re in a new area or heading out on a road trip.
- Always lock your car completely and close all windows when you leave it unattended.
- If you drive a camper, make sure you know what’s allowed, even when it comes to ventilation or small openings.
