Properties on La Torre Golf Resort
La Torre Golf Resort was the second Polaris World golf resort property development to open, and as such the signature whitewash finish to the properties that were originally built is showing its age in places, but in general the impression is one of quality construction and comfortable living.
Nine children’s play areas are dotted around the development as well as the pool areas, and the landscaped gardens and tree-lined walkways make it a very pleasant environment.
The resort is maintained to a high standard, with great care and attention paid to the landscaped garden areas and open spaces, uniformity and a feeling of cleanliness being the first impressions entering the open and spacious streets.
La Torre Resort is set on over 1,400,000m2 and contains 2,648 properties, many of them frontline golf, in the form of whitewashed detached villas, townhouses and apartments. The ambience gives very much of a Spanish resort feel, although the town planning is based on the EDSA Plan of Fort Lauderdale, USA, to plan the La Torre Golf Resort, which creates the wide open American avenue feel, with American-designed planting schemes.
Apartments on La Torre Golf Resort
The apartments are built to a pleasing block design, comprising four stories with Mediterranean features such as the ubiquitous turrets breaking up the straight lines normally associated with such constructions.
All blocks have underground car parks as well as plenty of on-street parking, and these apartments are situated in the middle sector of the development and at the north-eastern end, around the town centre with its hotel, restaurants and commercial premises. Apartments are available with one-, two- or three-bedroom options and many have fabulous views over the
18-hole golf course.
Sixteen communal swimming pools serve all residents, although some small private pools have also been built in the larger gardens belonging to villas.
Villas on La Torre Golf Resort
These villas occupy the southern end of the development and the north-western corner of La Torre, and although the gardens are far from private the streets are attractive and the large maintenance staff maintains them in extremely clean condition. Most villas and townhouses have two bedrooms, but there are also some with a third bedroom. All gardens have inbuilt irrigation systems, roof terraces and parking.
Townhouses on La Torre Golf Resort
These are a mid-way option between apartments and villas, and offer comfortable accommodation with the option of two or three bedrooms. Most of the townhouses have good views, and some have frontline views over the golf course.
The resort was a sell-out success when it was first constructed, and the properties on sale now are re-sales, although there are a number available from banks which have been returned due to non-payment of mortgages. This resort has always held its prices well due to the fact that it has a good occupancy rate throughout the year and a good level of permanent occupation, along with well maintained facilities and services.
