San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:

Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?

Types of summer camp at King's College Murcia
- Nursery Camp: Designed for 3- and 4-year-olds, their children's camp offers weekly themed activities led by native English-speaking instructors. Children will also enjoy a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities, such as storytelling, music, yoga and sports, all laced together with a strong focus on the development of autonomy, creativity, and character.
- Cambridge English Course: Catering to 9- to 15-year-olds, the Cambridge English Course focuses on enhancing the confidence and abilities of their students in the English language. From creative writing to writing in a journalistic style, the course aims to develop students' imaginations and critical thinking, while at the same time offering activities aimed at improving their oral abilities so that they can become confident speakers. All activities are carried out using games and fun projects.
- Sports: Tailored for 9- to 15- year olds, the sports camp offers the widest range of sports activities, ranging from football, basketball, tennis, rugby, cricket, netball, dodge-ball and volleyball to waterpolo and swimming in their new semi-olympic covered pool. Guided by highly qualified instructors, the students will develop their English proficiency, while at the same time honing their skills.
- STEM: This year, the STEM course goes at it again. A project-based program aimed at building students' confidence in STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) while at the same time, enhancing their English language skills. The curriculum includes arithmetic, maths practice, problem-solving activities, creative thinking and the development of metacognitive thinking abilities. The course is ideal for those students from 9 to 14 years old, who are seeking a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
