June 8 Jumble sale in Aguilas
The local neigbourhood association is selling assorted used items at the market in Residencial Los Jardines
Get ready for a neighbourhood market in Águilas this June selling second-hand goods.
This is from the Junta Municipal del Residencial Los Jardines, a neighbourhood association which has organised, in collaboration with the Department for Citizen Participation of the Ayuntamiento de Águilas, its ninth edition of “Vacía los trasteros” (“Empty your attics”).
The neighbourhood street market, where there will be a variety of second-hand bric-a-brac for sale, will be held on Sunday June 8, from 9am to 2pm, in the Los Jardines residential estate, next to the children's park.
Anyone is welcome to go along and shop, and if you want to register as a seller, please call or WhatsApp either +34 628 287 800 or +34 616 414 318.
Águilas’s Councillor for Citizen Participation, Elena Casado, said, “The aim of this neighbourhood market is the exchange and reuse of second-hand objects, allowing the recycling of everything that is no longer used, as well as strengthening the community activities among locals.”
