June 6 Palmera Fest alternative arts festival in Los Alcázares

A celebration of alternative artwork and fun activities for all the family at the Playa del Espejo in Los Alcázares

The Palmera Fest event returns to the promenade alongside the Playa del Espejo in Los Alcázares on Saturday 6th June, celebrating elements of underground art, music and culture.

Running from 17.00 until midnight, the festival includes an arts and design market with more than 40 stands, cultural presentations, live music, workshops and other events, all in a welcoming family environment, showcasing the talents of local artists. The music is being supplied by local artists Los Boompats (21.30), Galgo (22.30) and Pau From Marc 23.00) along with DJs.

The market stands offer products and creations such as illustrations, books, jewellery, ceramics and clothing, and a series of free workshops are also being held, dealing with biomaterials, ceramics and palm-weaving. Registration for these can be completed by email at palmerafest@gmail.com.
