June 14 Free visit to the archaeological site of Cerro del Tío Pimentón in Jumilla
Bronze Age settlers lived in the area of Jumilla some 4,000 years ago
As part of the celebrations of the European Archaeology Days in Jumilla this free visit is being held on Saturday 14th June to the Bronze Age site of El Cerro del Tío Pimentón, where our forebears settled in the north of the Region of Murcia during the 2nd millennium BC.
Registration to join the visit, which has always been well attended in previous years, is free of charge and can be made by telephone on 968 757379. The group sets out for the site at 10.30 from the car park next to the municipal indoor swimming pool, and the visit is followed by a convivial glass of wine.
